Sweetest Day – Not only is it a day where you give a small token of your affection to the one you love, but it’s also a day to celebrate acts of charity and kindness to those who need them most! The third Saturday of October is the perfect day to do something special for your significant other, loved ones, or a stranger who will be affected by a simple act of kindness forever. This is what Sweetest Day is all about and it always brings a smile to everyone’s faces when they are surprised by the thoughtfulness of others!

Simple acts such as opening doors for people, surprise flowers, or saying “Good Morning” to a co-worker are the best ways to bring a smile to their face. It’s more than we realize because it’s a domino effect of it being passed down from us to someone else and someone after that! What we do, what we give to someone beyond ourselves, affects others in its wake. Making someone smile could in turn lead them to do something kind of another – it keeps going until the day becomes its namesake, Sweetest Day, and is something we should all cherish and keep alive!
